Does any of you gixxer riders know about putting a single slip-on on a 07-08 gixxer 1000?My friend just bought one and doesnt want to put a full system on it but wants single sided slip on!????:dontknow:

I have a single sided carbon fiber Leo. It looks and sounds awesome!

from what I have read going single on gsxr saves about 20 lbs.I would go slip-on the difference in power compared to full system will be small.

Yeah. I posted pictures of it somewhere on here from deals gap with some good pictures. Do a search for vir and you will see one of my threads and there is a pic in there too.

Taylor made, a guy here in town has one looks sweet!!!

"The TaylorMade 2007 GSX-R 1000 kit is a slip on that eliminates the stock box and mufflers saving 20 pounds! On the dyno you can expect a horsepower increase of 6.5 hp @ 7000 rpm and 3 HP at the top end without a power commander. Dynojet themselves, have tested the pipe and gained 9.5 HP @ 7000 rpm – that’s an 11% power increase! We measured sound levels of 105 db at 7000 rpm as compared to 96 db for the stock exhaust."
