Has anyone ever tried using a Gen3 header on a Gen1? Finding new systems for a Gen1 has become impossible unless you want junk for a header but there's still plenty of Gen3 systems around. Besides tabs and mounting brackets being different which isn't a problem for me to remove and relocate does anyone know if the head pipes will fit and the rest clear the oil pan etc? I realize there's plenty of differences in the internals of different Generation motors but the bore spacing and stroke etc are relatively close so I can't see why they won't swap especially since they are held together by springs mostly and have ample play in the fit up... Anyone try this before?
