Hey guys, hope someone here maybe knows what it could be:

April 2022 the 1st time this happened, the bike just shuts off power like pressing the killswitch while riding. In the video here it happened the 1st time, when shifting to 4th gear.
1st starting attempt in neutral while still rolling it fails, you can also hear the fuel pump go round.
2nd attempt when standing still as you can see, it starts again. After that, i did not have the problem for months.

And then last saturday 10 September 2022, i had the same problem again, while going over a speed bump. Exactly the same.
The only other thing i noticed a few times more that bike sometimes does not start immediatly after a short break(1-5 min). Then i wait, turn ignition on and off and it always works again. Does anyone have any idea?

I did have a crash in May 2021 where my key was bend, so i had the key replaced and they put the chip in the new one. But between then and the 1st time it happend it has like 8000km in between, trackdays, mountain roads, bumps, never had a problem.

The bike also has a aftermarket quickshifter, perhaps it could cause a problem? The last time it happened it unplugged it(only use it on track now to spare the gearbox).

I just measured the battery, 7 years old, but its perfect condition.
I checked the wiring of the side stand switch, looks good. Also went up and down and pulled the wiring a bit while it was running in 1st gear on the stand, no problems.

I also unplugged the side stand switch plug, but then it even cuts the power in gear while the stand is in, and the FI light comes on, but i guess that is because it is unplugged?

Possibly the tipover sensor, a wonky crankshaft position sensor, or if you're using a mechanical quickshifter not the strain gauge type.
Well the 1st time it occured, the same day(trackday) my gearbox got messed up(2nd to 3rd gear) so shifting was bumpy in high revs. Could that possibly cause problems somehow with the crankshaft positions sensor?

I have an Translogic Intellishift Quickshifter btw.

How can i test the tipover sensor? Checked the wiring btw it was good. There is a bit of movement on it(back and forth) the rubbers where the bolts are plugged into maybe a bit old? But the bolts are in place and tight.

Its so weird it only happened twice in 2500 miles and 5 months in between

Hey guys

If it would be the crankshaft position sensor, where is this one located(all the wires make me crazy xD, prefer mechanical problems)
And is it correct that i don't get a fault code if it is that sensor?

Anyone perhaps have the part number of the crankshaft position sensor?

Got my hands on a crankshaft position sensor from a mate(he changed his one too but the problem was something else).

Last year in May 2021 i had a crash with 60 mph and i slided on the right side, and the cover where this sensor is located behind, was damaged. So maybe it has something to do with that. Still weird after the crash, i went on Europe motorcycle vacation, multiple countries, did 2 trackdays, and no problems whatsoever. 8000km after the crash it happened for the 1st time.
