Gen V Exhaust on Gen IV

Just curious, is there any reason a Gen V Akrapovic full exhaust won't fit or work on a Gen IV? Reason I ask is the stainless header version is available for Gen V but not Gen IV saving about $5-600.

If you're buying a full system, I think it'll fit fine... the fitment issues come when you're putting a gen 5 cat delete exhaust on a gen four header, or a gen 4 cat delete system on a gen 5 header. The difference is only in the length of the factory headers...

Not a gambling man when it comes to something so expensive though... but with that train of thought, I think a full exhaust system fits either way.

Thanks for the response. The savings wasn't quite what I remember but still significant at $476. Lots of time to decide tho, won't be heading to the track for a couple of months.

There should be no reason for it to now fit, the difference between the 2 gens is the length of the stock headers, I can confirm this as I have a Gen 5 header on my Gen 4 with a Akra 60mm link pipe and slip on. Putting headers from Gen 4 onto 5 should be a problem, Iv seen other ppl on this forum put gen 4 leo vince full system on a gen 5 no issues. The different between the gen 4 akra and gen 5 akra is the links they have between cylinders is different gen 4 between header 3-4 and gen 5 between 1-2 and 3-4.
