Yes! I run mine with the reverse pattern! Love it!

You need to do one of 2 things to make that happen - put the G3 throw-arm on the there and reflash the ECU. Or get a bellcrank adapter for the rearset. Both of those assume you wanna keep the QS on there.

PS - You need to let go of the shift button when pressing the #5 on the keyboard.

If you haven't tried this yet, you'll find that the QS interferes with the frame if you keep it. There's ways around that, but flipping the linkage over won't make the QS work properly anyway. You can remove the QS and secure it out of the way to get it done. Otherwise you need to reverse it in the ECU software and space it with a new rod. Assuming of course, that you're trying to use the stock rearsets. :dontknow:

SkyDork do you have any pics of this or similar post showing examples?

Which part exactly? I have pics of the setup from my Gen 4 with the G3 throw arm. It's basically the same for the G5 without the QS on there. Is that what you're looking for? Or are you wanting to keep the QS?

OK then. Give me a little while to dig up that post. From memory on that, the member used G4 Vortex rearsets, the G3 shift arm, had to match up the threaded rod, and space out the QS module slightly so it wouldn't contact the frame rail there. And as I said, if that's done, then the software in the ECU must be reflashed to allow it to work since it will be opposite in that configuration.

I'll do some snooping and post up a link shortly.
