Hey how's it going everyone, I searched around and didn't find any specific threads on this so I'm hoping to leverage everyone else's knowledge here. For the 2016 ZX10R there seems to be a lot of flashes available; bauce racing, woolich, guhl, graves, and then the usual fuel controllers (bazazz, PCV) I understand the differences between a flash and a fuel control unit. But what are the pros and cons of the different flashing services, if any?

Thanks in advance

Fernando

If you can find a reputable (proven) one in your area for your price range then that's the one I'd go for.

Most flashing services offer a lot of the same thing as far as redline, exhaust valve code removal, flapper, etc... but the ones that are proven dyno tuners are the ones that would get my money.

They are all about the same overall, but each one has been able to looks slightly different features and done so through slightly different coding. Determining which is better than the other is a different story... graves is going to be geared towards their exhausts( I assume) woolich is the big dog, guhl does stand alone flashes and also works with Brock's performance for theirs, there is also FT ECU. The problem with fuel management systems on the gen 5 is that they have 0 effect on the system til after 8000 rpm. In order to get a full fuel mapping the stock (ECU map) needs to be rewritten instead of piggybacked. Which can only be done from a flash.

I went with a policy system for my bike to learn and tune myself. Got great deal from Archer as well. With the knowledge of people here along with archer and mapshare I've had amazing experiences. Be the king of your machine get a policy or hit up 2wheel dyno works. Only thing with who u pick to flash every mod you have to mail your ecu to them. I decided to tune myself for that reason of bikes downtime for a 2min rewrite.

Guhls or Graves (they use FTECU) so i would then say GUhls or FTECU i have both guhls and FTECU and they are both great
ftecu and Guhls, Guhls doesnt sell a bench flash kit,
First pardonmy poor typing im doing this all one handed as my arm/shoulder are still banged up a bit

Hey guys so i ended up going with woolich, reason i did not reply sooner was the day i ordered my kit i got ran off the road and ended up in a high side @ 50 mph, walked away (well limped) and the bike had about 6 k worth of damage, and insurance just settled the claim so im waiting on the check to come in so i can start the repair process. I spent a little time learning how to use the woolich kit but when ever i look at the mapshare i only find a handful of maps (20 ish) i was wondering if there was a spot that everyone goes to post up their maps. The mods that im going to be installing are: Graves low mount cat eliminator exhaust, block off plates, K&N air filter. Im located in San Diego Commiefornia (for elevation purposes very low near sea level) if any one has any maps that will match closely to what i would need feel free to share/mentor me into the right direction.

2016 ZX10R map ,Autotuned Graves 3/4 cat eliminator , use this map on map share to get you started . if you got the log box with woolich then you can tune on top of that . for idling you may have to go a bit richer if you keeping the idle low.

yes the map work for you, read the detail on the map it shows what was done to the bike and what to chose on the software if the intake air flapper is not removed on your bike you can use the map off another map share I have on woolich website (2016 Kawasaki ZX10R Austin Racing GP1R Cat Eliminator) use the map for intake flapper off this one to keep the flapper open all the time.
