I'm not aware of anyone doing that swap. I'd imagine that it would work if you think the G5 box is "better", but I'm not sure. There may be subtle differences that make it not plug-n-play. Or you could put the race gear pairs in your G4 box and fine-tune it to make it perfect for your bike and needs!
Gen 5 transmission into a gen 4
Soo seems the gearing is better/different on the gen 5. Does anybody know if the gearboxes are interchangeable. Also anybody have a write up on how to remove the transmission?
