i'm up for new front end on the gen 2 track bike .
what other model forks fit in the tripple trees?
are the later modles the same size tubes?
if they are would prefer to go later modle as the spring rates are better suited to my weight on later models

I know for a fact that mine 06 has a 08 complete front end (forks, rotors, calipers and fender). I learned that when I wanted to replace the brake pads and the new ones didn't fit. At some point the previous owner replaced it.

I think gen 3's are longer than Gen 2's but the same diameter

He probably just did a caliper swap..
I have the KYB forks, 08 calipers and 310mn rotors and 08 front fender on my 06 ZX10R.

I tried to find if there's any length difference and if the bike geometry was altered somehow but couldn't find the information. On the service manual the 08 vs 06 uses 8ml more of oil, the oil level is 3mm higher and the fork spring is 0.2mm larger.
