Does anyone know the size of the allen head that fits into the front axle? I think I am going to have to go to Sears to pick one up since the motorcycle shop doesn't have the tool around here.
Thats not a good idea as the pinch bolts compress the aluminum and although it works it has the real potential to gaul the threads as you loosen the axle.Just keep the two pinch bolts on that side of the fork tight until you loosen the axle.
Hell......... I never loosen that side .......ever. :dontknow:
Yeah that's like what I need. I just can't wait to order one. I'm polishing my wheels and I'm impatient. Hopefully I'll have pics up some. I got the rear done and man does it change the look of the bike.saw this at indysuperbike
Yeah I just moved down and haven't been able to find somewhere like that. However I lucked up at Auto Zone today. They had a 12,14,17mm for 10 bucks. So I snagged that set.My local Harbor Freight had a whole set of allen-head sockets... from like 10mm up to 20mm for $20.
