Its fork seal time on my 2016 zx10r and I'm really hoping I can change them without stripping the forks, I have changed a few sets on other upside-down forks by removing the bottom section of the forks and sliding the old seal down the leg, then sliding the new one up, can you do this on Showa BFF style forks,

I asked about this when I had my Showa BPFs rebuilt with Ohlins cartridges. I wanted to get the fork tubes coated gold or buy coated replacements from Race Tech. The shop that did the work for me said that it's hit or miss when trying to remove the bottom sections and if it goes wrong parts can get wrecked. It sounds like you've done this before so you'd know better than me on that point.

Anyhow, my guy didn't want to risk it and I didn't press the issue.

If you mean the fork bottoms where the calipers mount to I doubt it, as unlike the big piston forks the balance free forks are pressurised, so you'd have to drain the nitrogen (easy enough), it's the putting it back in that's the hard part, needs a special tool. I was looking at getting a piston kit for 2016+ forks from Andreani but knowing someone that would have the tool to regas them.... That's what that random screw/plug thing is on the front of the fork bottom for.
