This is dogshit.I cannot ride with gear at this temp. It's brutal, like putting your balls in a microwave brutal.

Anyone else having this problem?

I don't have a problem riding in 100+ temps with my icon mesh jacket (as long as I am moving). Now in city traffic with all the heat coming from pavement and all the cagers, THAT SUCKS MAJOR AZZ.
I'm near Louisville, KY and I'm still wearing my icon leather jacket (non-perforated). It has been 95 out and I got stuck in traffic for about an hour in that heat, and it wasn't fun. Thinking about a perforated leather jacket but haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. I won't ride without at least my mesh jacket. I can handle sweating a bit (or a lot).
i bought a joe rocket open mesh jacket with the shoulder vents for the hot days and it works good at keeping me cool and still have protection from armor and the liner worked good on cooler days

NJK mesh jacket with armor....only way to go in the heat....zips to my leather pants...
armored vest LOL I cant believe someone would say that, yeah it helps maybe at the track but on the street thats the most squid looking thing I see around hahahahha
Do they make one of these for my balls. LOL:mrgreen:
I did a track day with a few friends yesterday at willow springs raceway in Rosamond Ca yesterday temps were over 100 degrees pretty much all day had on full leather 1 piece w/ under armor protection , stayed & rode the track for legit 20 minute track sessions from 9:00 am until about 4:20 pm we had fun, but think i will wait until end of sept to hit another track day , the heat made it just way more intense

I crashed out at 9 pm last night and did not wake up until 8 am = sun baked
so glad i don't have to deal with the hot weather here in MT but 85 is hot as hell to me so when it does get there i bought a shift mesh jacket that flows extremely well and is whit so even when stopped in town it don't get too hot!
lol, I doubt they make one for your balls haha, even though at the strip on time, my best friend had just ran and coming back to the pit he pulled out where we were and hes says to my wife its freaking hot, next thing you no a hole bag of ice down his jacket haha...it was funny!!! Best friend keep in mind lol
What is this Iceberg cooling vest of which you speak?

I got mine at my local Cycle Gear on closeout, but still $30 is definitely worth it.
I did about 150 miles on Sat. Its not terrible if you start early. I dont really have a problem with the vest idea myself, Im just wondering if a good mesh jacket would be just as cool. Here is the link for the Veskimo.

drink more water, put a camelbak on and drink while riding. I have one built in to my SS Jacket and it's great. A semi-cool drink of water helps a lot when it's 100+ on the road.
wow i just got off the 10 and its 68 here now it got up to 81 here today lol the hottest its been all summer is like 86....have fun in the heat i dont know how you guys can do iti would rather be in -20 than 100+
You can have your 20below weather. I'll stick with the 100deg. stuff. Moved from Iowa to Florida just to avoid that 20 below crap. Brutal on the body. Hell you don't even want to go out to get in the car let alone the bike.:headshake
its crazy hot in arizona too man i wear the icon field armor vest  helmet gloves jeans the freeway is the best thing for sitting in stop and go traffic is torture :angryfire
speaking of vests and very hot weather...I know we've spoken about squidly behavior but how do you guys feel about a vest for those hot days instead of the Jacket??? obviously gloves and helmet but i'm curious to see how people feel about the vest similar to the icon field vest i see a lot of squids riding with. sorry for the thread jack but i thought it was relevant.
dont worry about other peoples opinion if you want a vest wear one i read on here that the icon vest is squidly well i wear mine everyday and i actually like it try it out
Here in southern Indiana we are having the coolest summer ever on record. If it keeps us this will be the first year since the NWS kept records that we havent had a 90 degree day in July!!!!!!!! As a matter of fact we have broken 5 record lows
i haven't read any of the responses yet, but I'll say this:

I lived in phoenix for a year. Anything over 105 degrees switches from a relieving cooling effect, to a cooking effect the hotter it gets with regards to riding the motorcycle. I.E. the faster you go when it's over 105 degrees, the hotter I got.

Sux. Good thing I live a mile from the beach in San Diego now =)
Well its been the worst summer I can remember in western NY, Rain like every day and almost never gets up to 80. Still feels like spring here.
