Hello guys

a friend of mine (he has a ZX10r 2004) is gonna tune his bike.
he's changing the camshafts with the Kawasaki Racing kit .

We read in the Racing Manual that for the 2004 model you should use the STD exaust camshaft, it doesn't mention the racing one . But he has both (exhaust and intake) from the racing kit.
Due to the similarities with the 10R 2006 we thought to mount it anyway.
Do you have any experience about mounting a racing exhaust camshaft on a 2004 ?

:hello:

The exhaust camshaft will not give you any gains, in fact you will loose some power. It was stated here before by a number of people who tried it. Only the intake camshaft is useful. You need to install and degree the camshafts, i remember some threads here...Also the service manual is handy.
