Error mode when Dyno'd...Why?

Okay, why is this bike going in to error mode when on the Dyno?

ABS F & R Disabled
Traction Control Disabled

Every time we tried it. Code P0500 front wheel sensor. If the ABS and TC are disabled, why?

She Dyno'd at 177.4 today, stick except for the Woolich system installed.

rear wheel is spinning, front is not, bike doesn't know why, kicks a code. common when dyno'ing electronic equipped bikes. it is an ecu, traction control thing, not just an abs thing. even with the listed stuff disabled, the ecu, is still receiving, searching for signals. Ski

Yup. Disabled, so it's not working. Doesn't mean the system isn't still looking for valid signals.
No way to stop the bike going in to error mode on the Dyno? We had a guy with a Gen 4 there, his did this too, but he was able to easily reset it, me, I had to get the laptop and reset it with the Woolich software.
shut the bike off, cycle key, should reset. also, truly, the light does come on but, it shouldn't effect power output, or tuning. Ski

Resetting is not that simple on the Gen5. It stays in error mode for a LONG time...but we can clear it with the Woolich system, just a PITA.
