So I thought I had a battery problem or something causing a drain on my battery. I've always kept it on a tender when I'm not using it for long periods or storage during the winter.

I went to try and take my battery out the other day and tried charging it off the bike, and as soon as I disconnected both terminals from the battery, there's this loud buzzing noise like an alarm but not as loud. I do have an alarm on the bike but I don't use it.

So how can there be power to trigger a siren type noise when I've disconnected the battery and why would it go away when I connect it back?

My guess is I should try and find where the alarm is and disconnect it but not sure where.

Any thoughts?

Does anyone with a Gen1 have a pic of under the seat and pass seat?

Its possible that if the battery is connected that when you you take the battery off of the bike, it has a small internal charge that allows it to emit a noise and that it what youre hearing. I dunno, Im no electronics expert or anything, just a guess?
