EK 525 drive chain report
Dealer installed this EK 525 chain at 41500 miles; replaced with superstreet chain at around 57,000 miles.
The chain stretched all the time but did not kink. The superstreet master link would NOT fit into the EK chain. The same master DID fit in the oem chain, but a bit tight. The EK chain feels like two clicks down from oem and about 7 clicks down from superstreet; I've run a few superstreet chains, the ZVM-x DID.
I kept installing larger sprockets to keep running the chain which kept the wb shorter. The 39 sprocket would have forced that chain to be replaced around 10k miles, if I recall.
