Hey guys!
Upgraded from my stock 2021 zx10r to a new 2023 model. I was thinking this time I wanted to flash the ECU and put a few mods on it. Exhaust, velocity stacks, and just a few other cosmetics.

My real question here, how long would you guys wait to actually get the Flash / Dyno? I was looking at dragging the bike down to Moore Mafia for the work. Appreciate all the advice in advance!

I would wait till you get mods installed before you get the ecu flash/tune. Moore is good tuner he's flash several zx10's also have him correct the qs while your there it need some adjustment from stock.

I would get all the parts installed with 0 miles on the bike and trailer it to the dyno for a methodical break in procedure on the roller. Your motor will realize 100% of it's potential that way (the last 1-2 horsepower). Get him to change the oil to synthetic and then tune it.

If a motor is broken in too gently on the street then it will become (very slightly) handicapped for life. When you hear about particularly good or bad engines coming from the factory, most likely the differences are actually related to an aggressive (good) or gentle (bad) break in procedure.
