Mods... BMC Race, Shorty stacks, ported TB's with no secondary flies, Yosh SS headers with carbon TRC.

max hp: 144.73hp
max tq: 73.79ft lbs.

Well the dip in hp around 7k was cause the air fuel went around 14:1 but on the street I just data log tuned this bike and it was perfectly at 13:1 air fuel maybe 13.1-13.2:1 at the most on the street topping out around 182... no on the dyno my bike was reading 12.4-12.5:1 at wide open throttle... sure does make a difference of air fuel with ram air!!!

THIS IS WHY... when I tuned bikes on dynos I would always richen them up about .5 a point in air fuel for top end bikes... from what ive seen they always do this Anyways, this dyno reads pretty low, my 2mm motor made 156 I think on this dyno and that motor made 180 on another

P.S. That 182mph was done in .65 of a mile with +2 rear gearing :thefinger

when I was tuning my 04 for top end we tuned on the dyno (tuning link), then took the bikes out on the street w/a laptop and kept adding fuel in the 7k and up 80 & 100% throttle. Added fuel as it picked up speed/acceration until it slowed down, then back the last change out. Not scientific but gave results on the GPS and against a "control group" bike. Should have gone back to the dyno to see what the end result a/f was but at the time only the result, not the a/f was all I was concerned with. No doubt the max HP would have been lower on the dyno compared to the tuning link map. :eek:ccasion1
