So I was all hyped to go throw the bike on the dyno and see what my numbers are before I do my last few mods that I'm hoping to gain a good chunk of hp and tq out of. I get to the shop it goes on the dyno and ... the first question after they finished was does my bike rev out on the road ?... i was like yeah it does I get a little fast jump from 8k to 13k before it starts to bounce off rev. So I ask why he asks... there response was because your bikes slipping. So my cocky kind of annoyed self goes well did you mess with the traction control ? Because I know some bikes have issues on certain dynos with certain dyno mechanics doing it. They say yes we tried messing with it. They then told me that it could me my clutch slipping.
So my question I guess is has anyone dyno'd they gen 4 and had this issue or have had your clutch slip on the dyno and it put out way less then stock numbers ? Should I just start off with replacing my springs or just go and do plates and springs all at once?
