Hi Guys,

I had my drive chain and sprockets replaced - ordered the factory sizes - front 17 teeth, rear 39 teeth, chain lenght 110 links.

I am not sure if it was done properly - for example how much links I should have in total 109+master link or 110+master link?

Thanks in advance,

Longman

p.s. I promise from now on to do everything myself, not to trust the repair shop :dontknow:

The chain size includes the master link so 110 total. The master link connects 2 inner links together since the master link is an outside plated link. Therefore, it's impossible to cut a chain with an odd number of links and be able to reconnect it with the master. You have to cut 1 outside plate, 1 inside, and another outside link so you can add the master back in.

I doubt they screwed it up.
