Hi guys,

Having a little hassle with a 2009 european model ZX10R, she's been cutting out on idle after warming up. Like if I have it started to warm up before a ride it will be fine for maybe 3/4 minutes then stall. A little rough in gear under 2000 RPM but only on take off or at roundabouts etc. once your riding for a while then its perfect. It has a k and N filter and PC5. I recently serviced it (new plugs, oil and oil filter) i have since taken back out the new plugs and checked them all as well as the gap on the plugs. Also sent a new map to the pc5 but it still persists. I drained out old petrol also and put in new batch two tanks ago and still nothing, Any ideas??
Thanks in advance

Hi Steve,

1. Throw away the PC5, get the stock map back.
2. When did the valves were last checked?
3. Have you or someone else checked the throttle bodies\throttle position sensor?
4. Is it only on idle\low rpm or the symptoms are all the way there?

Yeah first thing first, unplug the power commander and see if it still happens while all hooked up stock. It's not uncommon for those too cause issues with a bike
