I was caught in a storm last week and now when I ride and change gears the LCD reading fluctuates before it locks in. For instance if I change from 1st to 2nd gear it will flicker between 1st and 2nd then stay at 2nd and so on with every gear. Now the actual transmission is locking in normally. There is no stutter, or power fluctuation. It is just on the LCD display. Did the rain short something out?

I have a 2012 zx-10R non KIBS model all stock. Thanks for any assistance given on this topic.

Yeah, you likely have water in the connector going to the GPS. You can unplug it and use some dielectric grease in there after drying it out. But getting to it is somewhat of a bitch with it being behind the sprocket cover and water hose. But it could also be the GPS itself that's going bad. If drying out the connector doesn't work, the next bet is replacing the GPS.
