I just picked up a 21 the other day.

I was wondering why the cruise control wasn't working while riding the past couple of days and I've figured it out.

81mph is the slowest you can set it to, which in my opinion is kinda dumb, However, is there a way to lower it or anything?
I'm going to be cruising with my pops, Most of the highways to our destinations are 60-65 so 80+ will land a ticket.

I won't run from a ticket, I'm 19 so the last thing I need is a casket.

Also, Is BrenTune worth it? Pros and Cons?

That's interesting. The minimum speed should be about 30, not 80! Another poster has said their aftermarket levers disabled cruise control. What levers are you running? My 21 has ASV shorties and no problems with cruise control. But if I adjust the clutch inward more than a little bit, the bike won't start in first gear and I have to shift to neutral.

Try taking it to the dealer. Should be well within warranty.

The slowest speed it can be set to is 20mph. I can't say I've used it that low but I've definitely done it in the 60s

You can only set the cruise once you’re in at least 3rd gear.

Hey i havent been able to get mine to work even in higher gears and higher speeds. havent tested it til now but i wonder if my ecu flash disabled it. do i have to be in a certain ride mode? i’ve been in sport mode

Mine is flashed from Moore and cruise control still works in all modes. Have you changed rear sets or levers?

nope. only mods are the moore flash and exhaust/air filter. i wonder if i need to takenit to the dealer….but then i voided my warranty with the flash…

Mu 21 Ninja 1000 SX cruise will only set at 86 mph as the highest speed. Not sure as to the lowest, but have used at 45 up to 86 before.

So I got it to work, turns out I was too low of gear and too high of speed. Tested it by putting in 4th and setting at 50 mph and it worked
