Ook, so my buddy wrecked his 04 zx10r, doing dumb stuff I am assuming. He bought all new parts, except for one he can't find. He said they call it a pulsing rotor or timing rotor, located down by the rear brake lever. I have not had to deal with this before, so I don't know about it. However, the problem lies in nobody having this part. Everyone says its on backorder indeffinitely. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Ask him the part number so you can get the exact name and even a drawing so you can point out what part your looking for. That will allow you to be more specific when your asking. Sadly, there is almost always somebody parting out a bike here. Search for those threads, may have some luck. Thats all I got, sorry I can't be more help.

it is the pulse rotor, located on the right ignition side end of the crank. signals the ign. pickup. should not be hard to find here.
