Well its on.
Not quite finished coz need to change headlight plugs to suit gen4 loom.
First impressions are i love it. Coz im tall the first thing i notice is the fairing with the double bubble screen are perfect for me.
Colour scheme will be changed but im not sure what yet.

I love the cockpit view.

I meant this bit

but by the sounds of it, its not an issue with when using a gen 4 airbox, must be a if you run gen 5 airbox issue.
I changed the front fairing not the airbox. Front gen4 ram air tube and gen5 clock bracket are direct fit

Sorry If this question been asked...

Can someone provide the list of items needed if I wanna use the Gen 5 Tail on a Gen 4? Also the detail steps on the how-to would be great.

Rear undertray.
All rear plastics.
Rear subframe alloy top piece. The sides are the same!
Riders seat is the same.
Lock will fit and work but gen5 has slightly shorter cable which would be better.
Rear light which plug isnt direct fit. Needs cutting and joining.
Plastic part that sits on top of the seat latch is needed as it holds top cowl and lean sensor.
Most other parts can be utalised from the gen4 like bolts etc..
Tank needs removing.
Ideal time to change the shock or links or change air filter!
Its not rocket science but its not easy and took me about 6 hours.
Buy used pannels as it should have all the rubber grommets in it all ready.
At the mo there is a 2016 subframe on ebay but i brought new as it was cheaper than ebay!

Thanks

Since I'm running it most of the time as a track bike, seems that it requires very little parts...
Tempting.. LOL

Do you mind sharing the links on eBay for the 2016 subframe or the links where you got yours?
