I have an 05 ZX6R, I'd replaced the clutch cable due to the old one was slacking bad (all adjustment are to the max to tighten it up).. The new one worked fine (nice and tight) until a couple of sessions into my trackday...then the cable is slacked and having trouble changing gear... any thoughts on the issue?

Yeah, most likely the clutch puller is worn and needing replacement. Gotta pull the clutch cover and/or remove the arm to inspect it.
