Since the BPF, in the gen4 are like black art or something..
my bike was 20K kms and I decided to change the oil, in the suspension... A FB friend recommended me the k-tech bushings, his experience was noticeable
FF slide bush** pair
44.70x20x1.50 (SBS-022)
FF guide bush pair
43x15x2.00 (GBS-019)
When we dismantled the suspension to my surprise the oem ones where coated like the k-tech, a bit worn on the side that is not coated but they seam OK.... anyway we changed the seals OEM, dust seals also OEM... and of course the ktech parts, new Repsol 5W oil...
we discovered that as soon as you take the parts apart there are a plastic part and a o ring that breaks, so we ordered...
put all together and at first in my house the suspension felt a bit just a bit softer so I went 1.5 click on the rebound clockwise..
the change is impressive, roads that the bike was hard to ride fast (hi speed road)because the road is not perfect (no matter the setting) now they are way more planted, a lot more planted, the damper was able to use it less hard.
on tight bends the bike feels more planted...
Im not a wana be racer, or a track guy that needs the best (I know that k-tech sells a full cartridge).... I just know that the suspension got better in the way it follows the road.
