I have searched over and over.

What length chain would be needed to run +4 in the rear with a 4 inch extension?

Mods move this id you must. Just thought I would get more feedback here.

most likely will need 150, somebody posted a link to a site that had approximations for length with extensions. and 3-6in was 150 links. mine is 7.5in with +2 in the rear and i had to cut off abt 10 links so urs wont be much diff.

150 is probably the safest bet and cut a few links out if needed.

I'm -1/+4 and 11-12" over right now and sitting with exactly 150 links. I know it doesn't answer your question, but may help you come up with a round about number.

ps - I think you will still cut some off with a 140 link, but I'm no expert.

Use an on-line calculator!

http://www.botlanta.org/converters/dale-calc/sprocket.html

For the center distance, measure the distance between the center of the transmission output shaft (front sprocket) and where you want to put the axle. For the chain pitch, use "0.625" for any nominal 5xx series chain (520, 525, 530).

edit: Stock swingarm has 25 to 26 inches center distance depending on where in the adjustment slot you want the axle to go.
