i got a spare radiator that i plan on gettin ceramic coated black. am i being obsessive compulsive or will the radiator benefit from slightly easier cooling effects. im not expecting 10 degree avg lower temps, just tell me im not being silly:gay:

Sounds interesting if it can be done without restricting air flow through the fins.

creative thinking and tinkering at least.

Sorry but its not really the purpose of ceramic coating is to keep heat in versus it being dispated out on to its suroundings

So if you coat your radiator you will over heat your engine thus destroying it

cuz i remember i was about to ceramic coat an intercooler and i asked quite a few peepz and nobody had any negative to say.... so, i think imma have to look into this a lil more. thanks for the heads up fellas!

.......man, now i think i had confused myself. i was thinkin the coatin slicks airways(pipes, headers) makin for smoother flow... but the rad is filled with fluid... so your probly right... but........this sucks.

EDITED: foget it... just another pipe dream!
