Just posted a new thread in the Suspension and Tire Tech but thought I would put it here too. I'm putting BST CF wheels on my 2016 zx10r abs with a 200/55 back tire. Not sure if I should get the 6 in or 6.25 x 17 back rim. Wondering what your thoughts are. Thank you

Don't do bst... go with the new rotobox boost rims. Lighter stronger looks better(opinion) and a bit cheaper. Both come from brocks if your U.S. based

I would like to thank you guys for your input. I don't care for the ROTOBOX wheels, sounds like BST has been around a long time working with CF. I always keep all the stock stuff and of course I own the bike. Bought it new last May. BST is willing to let me custom order them without the red and yellow stickers, which come under the clear coat, but are doing a set for me with out them. Without the stickers I can put the stock green tape on them.
I ordered 6.25 x 17 back, 3.50 x 17 front. RS10 200/55 back, 120/70 front. Going up two teeth in the back. Running a Graves Works Cat Elim, Graves flash with auto blip, and no red and yellow sticker on the pipe either.

Just me, but I would not go to the wider rear rim.

You can still run the 200 series tire on the 6.0 rim. I would hate to be sitting there with a 1200 dollar rim that messed up how my bike handled. Im sure it would be fine, but still...

Just the "what if" would make me wuss out and stock with a 6.0 width.

Also, and I know i'm being stupid, it would be better to have the 6.0 if you were ever going to try a 180.

Probably easier for resale. When you go to trade the bike, doubt you would let the rims go with it?

Thank you for your input and maybe I messed up but I wouldn't think an eighth inch on each side would make any real difference. Bridgestone recommends using a 6.25 with there 200. I wish I could get a back CF rim for $1200. If it doesn't work out I will get a 6 and go back to a 190. Never a 180. Thank you
