Have most of the bike dissasembled right now (2009) - found this piece on the ground and can't figure out what it's from... I thought it was part of the rear brake caliper or rear wheel assembly but I cant seem to figure out.

It almost looks like it's been sheered off when i look at it closely.

Anyone recognize this?

disregard... figured out it was part of the aftermarket chain assembly and it rolled under when i broke the link.
