Buying a Gen 1

Hello, newbie here. I have bad luck buying used and could really use advice from some more experienced folks. I'm looking at a 2004 zx10r thats got 12,000 miles. The part I'm worried about is that its been raced hard. 12,000 miles on a track and 300 miles of drag strip. It was popping out of gear so the seller sent it to fast by gast and had it undercut and hardwelded. Its got a PC5 and a dynojet quickshifter. Is this bike going to give me problems if I want to put it on the street? Thanks for reading
