as far as I am concerned this championship is defenitely more interesting than WSB. Since the factory teams stay out of WSB and now that Dorna has acquired the rights this will be the series to watch :D :D
The 10R did okay considering they haven't done a lot of tuning, and look at the Virgin Mobile R1's  They may look the business but that does not make 'em go faster

I was real impressed with how the Hawk Kawas performed up against all the full works factory teams of Honda, Suzuki etc...all putting out over 200rwhp.

Considering that these 10R's at in early development and are basically stock machines with pipes and shocks, running standard ignition and engine internals.

Hawk also have two very talented riders in Glen Richards and Scott Smart, so i'm sure that we'll soon see the green meanies on the podium.

Let the good times roll....
:D :D

Hallo 10r_geezer, someone who saw the race mentioned the Hawk kwaks due to lack of time still had to use the ignition key to get it started 8)
Is that true :?:

May be they are easier to insure that way
(because of the immobilizer)

Yo Burgerkin

Yep, those kawas still have the stock ignition, complete with keys and all.

I recon Hawk have kept the immobiliser to prevent Suzuki/Yamaha/Honda from nicking the 10R’s, so as to stop them winning races soon….
