Long story short dropped my throttle bodies and broke the throttle position sensor. The black one. I was wondering if I just bought one on eBay and put it on everything would be back to normal? I wanted to order a oem one but it doesn’t seem like you can. This is what I need to replace:

Yes mate it should be as easy as just unscrewing the old and screwing on the new in exactly the same position. But i advise you too balance the bodies or if you cant pay someone too.

What do you mean by balancing the bodies?

Balancing is syncing the TB's just makes sure there dialed in the same. Did mine on my gen1 made difference idle, down low much smoother now.

There a complex and fragile item, its best to routinely balance them, certainly when they have been removed, and if youv dropped them and been unscrewing - screwing things they are guaranteed too make your bike run like shit when re installed. You need a set of vacuum gauges to balance them, if not then certainly borrow some or pay s shop to do it.
