So after excitedly waiting for the new S21's to become available here, I finally picked up a set this morning before work.
I've only ridden 30km to work so far on them, but in that short distance I immediately felt at home on them.

The tip in rate is pretty ridiculous. I was cutting corners due to tipping in way faster than I thought I would, and they provide nice steady feedback.

I'll provide further details once I've given them a good run in.

For anyone who hasn't seen anything about them yet, they were launched at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi. An F1 track covered in sand and off camber corners.

Curious to see your opinions once scrubbed in well. I know the predecessor was not so well received by most, but I will be open minded because I was not a Dunlop fan for a long time, and love the Q3.

In the US the new ZX10R, H2, New R1 all come with the RS10's. Did your bike come with the RS10's stock? How many miles did you get out of them? How many miles do you have on your bike now?

thinking about buying these for my rsv4 since i do mostly street riding and the SuperCorsa didnt last long obviously. Van from Sport Bike Track Gear tested these tires at Yas Marina Circuit for their product launch and gave them a great review saying theyre a great tire for spirited riding to track days. I wish the RS10 had a little bit longer life on them or i would be getting those

Bridgestone says 36% more wear and two seconds faster lap times than the S20. That's a pretty big claim. I'm running the S20 right now on my 10 and its been a great tire.

Yes mine came stock with the RS10's. Really liked them, they're extremely stable, even with near scraping pegs with the missus on the back.
Unfortunately I had a big piece of glass slash the rear open about 2,000km in.

I got about 5,000km out of the front RS10, which I pushed to 6,500 before I could get the S21's. This was sketchy as shit. Every day the front would slip around roundabouts, and I lost the front 3 times just going for a gentle jog through my local twisties.

I think if you were a more chill rider, you could easily get about 6,000km out of the RS10 front safely.

I've got roughly 6,700km on the bike at the moment (4,200ish miles).

Really? So far I've only heard glowing responses to the S20 EVO's. Never ran them myself though. And yeah, I hate Dunlops. No logical reason why.

I had the S20s on two of my bikes and both had the same problem. Tires wore too fast compared to the BT-016 and they followed the road grooves/imperfections way too much once about half the tread was gone. I pulled them early on both. I was so paranoid I went back the BT-016 Pro that was re-released instead of trying the S21. I rode on a set of S21s on a friends bike, but they were fairly new and worked fine.

Any updates on the tires? I also got a flat rear tire on my gen5, so I ended up getting the s21 rear. Im not 100% on these once you tried the rs10. They are so nimble and you have full control of the bike.

UPDATE: Sorry for the delay, weather has been shite, then double demerits, so I haven't taken the time to go out for a hard ride. Ended up going out last night for some Isle of Man TT do it yourself racing with some mates.

In short, they're f*cking fantastic.
They heat up incredible fast and offer great grip straight out of the gates. To quote Baron, the front is inspirational. I know a couple corners where at full lean there are some ripples where I've had the RS10's and Rosso II's wash out the front on me before, but these stuck true. I thought I must have been going slower since the front didn't push, but checking back on my camera, nope, roughly same speed and lean as last time.

I turned the TC to 5 and power to Low and then Medium to see if I could get the traction kicking in, but the rear never decided to slip. Haven't done a really hard drive on Full with TC 1 so can't comment there.

They feel a bit like a mix of the RS10's with their stability and rail like tendency, but with more input like the Pirellis. Wear so far is excellent.
Hard braking doesn't seem to upset them at all as I slammed on anchors from 260kph down to 60kph, and then 160kph to a dead stop. No squirreling.
Been caught in a few storms too, and I've got plenty of confidence with them in wet conditions.

Currently, I am completely satisfied with them as far as road going tyres go.
I'll definitely be buying another set, and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about trying them out.

I really like the S21 but I feel like once I have tried the RS10 there is nothing like it. I dont know if I want to try front and rear S21 to get the full picture or just go back to RS10. Thanks for the update!

On my gen4 Im running the T30 evos on the back and now s21 on the front...

Im coming from a PR4, the front is just inspiracional, you can push the bike and it just like it...... a revelation.

the tip in is a bit slow for my taste...

Just a heads up for those looking into these. Motomummy has them on sale listed at $179 for a set after rebate. If I didn't just pick up a set of Q3's for $100 new, I would be buying a set of these.

Finding the Diablo Rosso III rear and Rosso Corsa's rear tending to chew through the center on me I have put an order for a S21 200/55 rear to see how that fairs. Also wanting same grip as the Rosso Corsa but better wet traction and life down the center line. Love the Corsa on the corners and hoping the S21 is similar in feel.

Keeping the Corsa front for now as it is fairly fresh. If the S21 rear rides well I will match it down the track up front.

Power 3's were great in the wet but I don't like the front as it feels vague for my liking. Must say though, we are spoiled for choices with tyres now days and they have come a long way since I used to blast round the place on my RGV in the early 90's
