I found out that certain years R1/6s came with brembo master cylinder. My question is has anyone ever done this before...ie any fitment issues...clip on lever...etc? I have access to one at a real good price so just inquiring before i go spending $$. Thanks.
Almost all modern sportbikes use the same diameter clipons so any master will be able to be swapped from one year-make-model to another. i knew they that certain years used a brembo rear master but didn't know about the front, if you're using this on the 2nd gen 10 then it might be a downgrade from the stock radial master...just cause it says brembo doesn't mean it's the bestest one out, just ask the folks who have had to upgrade or replace their ohlins damper on the 2nd n 3rd gen 10's.
Be careful just because its a Brembo doesn't mean it will work. Yamaha's use a very small pistons on their calipers. Stock Yamaha master cylinders I believe 16mm bore meaning it pushes less fluid. Stock Kawasaki radials are 18mm bore.
