Unless someone pipes up I'd say go for it. I am when I need to oil mine...it's probably the same stuff with a different label on the front ;)

That's what I did. I used K&N oil on my BMC. As long as it's lubed up, I really don't think it will matter. Unless someone says different, I don't see any problem with it.

Thats what im doing right now. Just be gentle on the amount of oil.

The K&N recharge kits come with good directions. If you follow them you can't go wrong.

Most of us probably owned K&N filters years before owning the BMC and we still have leftover oil from the kit. And most of us will just use up what we have.

Good ?? I was just wondering the same
however you guys think i should do this with Pipercross (foam filter)
I have a few cans of K&N cleaner and oil around.
and I dont wanna spend $35 on Pipercross cleaner.
