Well im about to commit a bannable site offence . Nice talking to you all . I am trading in the new 07 ZX10 for a ZX14 on saturday. Yes the 10 is faster on the bottom and midrange . lighter and definatly a better track bike . Unfortunatly as much as i like it, being am 6-4 250lbs gym rat . and my son Is 6-8 and 280lbs we jst dont fit the bike all that well. The ZX14 mighht be 90lbs heavier but is very comfortable for everyday riding and is good enough in the handling dept to do a track day or 2 . i think ther is a zx14 site and if it is half as good as the people here ill be impressed . thanks everyone Jake

there is a ZX-14 section of the site and quite a few members have switched over to the 14 but still hang around the 10r site. Me personally, I haven't had a bike since early 05 but found the site when i was lookin at new bikes, I'm still here and still bikeless

It was, it was like a inside joke but said to everyone if that makes sense Ha ha. But the 14 is a great bike, just a little big for me and the way I ride even that 2" of length will screw me up!!

Thank you al for the understanding . I loved the zx10 but my sons wants come before mine and he just CANT do a trackday on the zx10 being 6-8 280lbs . I beleive he will actually be safer ion the zx14 even though the bike is bigger and heavier due to the fact he will be able to manuver better on the bigger chassis

Hey, it's still a Kawi... that's the bottom line! ha ha!

Now if you said you were trading in for a Hayabusa... ehh... ;)
I love my 10 and all but as far the big boys are concerned (14 vs busa) I'd have to go with the busa. To me, and this is my opinion only, the 14 is ugly and not as comfortable as the busa. I wouldnt buy something that I thought was ugly just because it's a certain brand.

I like the looks of the 14 but sat on one at the dealer and can't say I was impressed with the way it felt just sitting on it and the looks of the dash are hideous, can't figure out why Kawasaki doesn't put a cluster similar to the 10R on the ZX14.
