Anyone use one??? I've been looking for a nice looking upper tree clamp and I saw theirs but they don't have a bracket for the ignition switch. Has anyone used their set up and made a bracket for the ign switch?

I don't think you can use just the upper, it's designed to work only as the whole triple asembly, see how the hole is elongated, eccentric bushings fit in there to ajust the offset. I think they jsut sell the seperate piecs as replacements.

yeah I Was thinking the same thing as well but I remember I Called them about this a long time ago and they said it should work as long as you use the 0mm offset with it. I had a set available to me a long time ago but I didn't bother with it because it had no mount for an ign switch and I Wanted to keep my steering column lock as well.

i've got the complete Attack set sitting on my dining room table at the moment, the top threaded portion of the two stems are very different size. i'm getting a collar machined up so i can use my Ohlins top mount damper.

the upper threaded section of the oem stem is probably 50% larger diameter than the attack stem. even with the zero-offset you'll never get the stock stem through the attack upper clamp.

You would have to machine a stem to get that to work and once you do a custom stem. You should have just bought the whole kit(its probably cheaper). It helps the 2006-2007 a great deal with turn in.

I got my bike stretched and would like more rake, do you know off-hand how many degrees that set-up offers?

not a clue.

the inserts i have are both "1"s. i don't know what units they are, or what other inserts you can get. if you put both inserts on the same way, you can just move the forks in or out without changing the rake. if you put the inserts in opposite to each other you'll rake it in or out.

you should contact Attack to figure out what units they use and how much it'll rake the forks in or out.

Yeah Garth the top clamp might actually mount up pending the steering stem.
I am swapping my 636 triples out for attack triples, and will see if the stock triple fits on the new parts.
as for ignition bracket, you will loose you steering lock and from what attack said they dont make the ignition bracket anymore.
