Your ole uncle Ricky is tough to beat on any bike.so rickey gadson just set new real street natl record at mancup world finals in valdosta ga this weekend against all the busas/14r's/1k gizzers on a gen1 zx10 turbo. took a lot of ridicule settling on the gen 1 zx10 as his platform for this class. 7.55/194 in the 1/4. are they still alive, hell never died.
prob rod bearing. My '04 track bike may soon be expiring.... After my last track day it has developed a bad "rattle" and harsh vibration. Tried changing CCT, but no change. Anybody have any ideas? 35K km's. Bike runs very strong otherwise.
Anybody have a low mileage engine for sale?
Do you have experience with that? From the vibration, I'd agree, but the sound is very metallic. Think a metal card in your bike spokes....prob rod bearing.
hmmmmmm, bent valve, broken retainer...........Do you have experience with that? From the vibration, I'd agree, but the sound is very metallic. Think a metal card in your bike spokes....
Thank you. That’s a LadyBird Japan bracket. Not sure if they make anymore.MT
Bike looks fantastic! Congratulations on a great job well done! Can you give me info on and where you got that exhaust hanger? I need one that is 11 inches long on one side and 9 inches long the other side.
So-Cal weather is amazing...
I own a 2005 Gen 1, I’ve been absent from the Forum for a long time. My bike is in mint condition, 16,000 miles, Akra CF Hex exhaust, BST CF wheels, rear sets and numerous other mods. Looks brand new and runs perfect, still take for occasional blasts, but primarily ride my other bike.
I am curious how many other Gen 1’s are still out there being ridden actively? Is this bike disappearing from the world? Too old and obsolete? Would love to hear how many Gen 1 owners are still out there and riding it.
