thats nice!!! yah mine "was" that color. long b4 i ever owned it, lol... you seen my project thread on mine, currently in tear down? What exhaust is that, was it meant for that year and model?

The exhaust is a Muzzy header/mid pipe with custom BlueFlame can sounds even better than my full Leo Vince on my 04 10R. I'll try and get a sound clip of it this week-end and post it.

im going to get rid of the ugly frame, well, ill keep it, but im gonna fill it in with body filler to smooth the whole thing out, makeit look like a newer style frame! i wanna fab up a single sided swing arm for this bad boy!!!

you using stock rims?? if so, what tires you have on them?

The wheels are Dymags 3.50x17 front & 5.50x17 rear with 120/70 Dunlop 207RR & 180/55 Dunlop 207RR. I've seen a couple other ZX-10s that were set-up with a VFR swing arm. Don't know the specifics on fitting one but it looked pretty trick.

By filling in the frame you're going to be adding additional weight but if you're going street fighter you won't notice because of the lack of body work will offset the difference.

The pics posted show Avon AV 39/40s but have since changed those as stated above.

The body filler shouldnt make too much weight. Ill be cuttin off any extras welded onto it also, like lil mount plates for things, etc...

what year VFR swingarm?

how much those rims set you back?

anywhere i could get more info on that swingarm conversion?? any forums??

i have a few friends with early 90 ZX-11's...

The wheels were $1900 which included a set of tires, I bought the Dymags thru www.ema-usa.com I knew the owner Greg so he gave me a pretty good deal on the set. EMA doesn't sell Dymags now and Greg is not with EMA any more so......

The sites I've found for the ZX-10 are either in German or Japanese so not much help other than looking at pics. I haven't been able to find any thing on the swing arm conversion but if you post over at www.bigbikeworld.com and ask the ZX-11 guys they should be able to point you in the right direction.
