anyone have a fix for the motor mount/frame crack issue
just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to the frame cracking at the weld near the motor mounts. i noticed a tiny hairline crack next to the weld on both sides of frame underneath. im going to fill the crack in but want to avoid it happening again, has anyone redesigned a diff mount or came up with a solution to avoid this?

ya i saw that but im not gonna get a new frame, itll just crack again, im gonna weld or alum braze the crack, but i saw someone on cl make a revised motor mount for less stress on frame. didnt know if anyone here did that too
Make sure to drill a hole at the end of the crack before you weld it up to keep it from happening again.
ya ive done that already.i have a feeling its been cracked forever, i bet alot of the 04 05 are cracked and no one even notices, but im gonna tig weld it soon
