Another swingarm swap question... 1st gen to 2nd gen swap

I have seen it without extensions and it looked like it worked fine, it is not all that much shorter than the 04-05 arm. There is a bike in the "Gallery" section with it done. Side exhaust is no problem, you just may have to modify the cover plate behind the brake side rear set.

I think the issue is the shock tho...
04 more in the middle...
06 to the left side more...
I could be wrong but It seems like I remember the shock not lining up with out mods.
The 08 swingarm and shock I think lines up perfect on the 2006. id go with that swingarm.
08 slight to the left also...
plus looks better, lol.
