Shouldn't the leaking stock part be covered under warranty?

Many had this leaking reservoir issue on Gen5. Not sure if US version is better than EU/Asian one. Anyway as we all know that some Kawa Service center are hopeless. At least center close to me is nightmare. I avoided headache and my mechanic modified this.

Tell me about it. The Kawa service across most centers in India is pretty crappy too. Not that the other manufacturers are any better....but still.

How much did the Honda piece cost you? How about something flashier like Rizoma etc?

I think this Honda's was $ 10 - 15 = cheap but good mod

How prevalent is this issue? Where exactly does it leak?

I had one leak on a Yamaha years ago, and ruined the paint on the tank!

Cap/Seal does not hold. I had spills around reservoir. Same my friends with same bike. Design is crazy.

I've seen some anodized caps for these, not sure if they would help.
