All,
I just basically gave ANIKI_THE_EXILED a minor tounge lashing. Am I right or wrong?
He's offering Gen 1 carbon parts for sale below..
Two piece chain gaurd $45.00
Clutch Cover $35.00
Carbon fiber rear fender with gold mesh $135.00
Package deal for $200.00
ALL PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING COST
According to him, he has had numerous offers for the complete package. Probably more than he expected. Then wants to start a bidding war when he sees that he can possibly get more $$ out of the deal.
Should he..
A) Sell to first come, first serve, first pay customer at his original asking price for the package
or
B) Change his mind mid stream and start a bidding war to see what he can get out of the deal.
I know everyone would want to get the most out of their sale as possible, to include myself. However, I told him that was bad buisness. If he wanted bids initially he should have asked for bids. Otherwise he should have stuck to his guns and sold to the first customer who met his initial asking price, regardless if it was me or someone else on the board. For the record. I'm sure someone else met and agreed on his price before I did.
It's called ethics people.
Maybe i'm wrong. What do you all think?....chime in
