Akra Link Pipe

Hello,

I just purchased this used Akrapovic Link pipe in ebay but have yet to receive it.

I know the box says the correct model but does the actual picture looks to be it. I checked some pictures on the net and seems like the mounting bracket is not the same but I could be wrong.

Having purchased it used I'm not sure what other bits and pieces are included on the new one. Would I need any other stuff to install this on my bike? I have the Akra titanium conical slip on.

Thanks in advance.

To me, it doesn't seem a Gen 5 link pipe and neither a Gen 4. Gen 5 doesn't have the O2 bung and Gen 4 has a different style one. In Gen 5 you need two clamps and a spring, and on Gen 4 there are no springs. You have one clamp and a spring (I can't see if there is the akrapovic logo on it, and also the clamp looks different from the akrapovic), but normally the spring should be included with the slip-on with the other clamp, not with the link pipe.

Thanks for the reply.

Does the O2 bung look like its for a wide band O2 sensor?
Could it be an Arrow Link Pipe instead?

Yes. Bottom line here is this. You already ordered it. It is in the mail. What good will it do to worry about the pipe until it gets to you? If it arrives and doesn't fit, then take it up with the seller.

Yes it could be. I had the suspect that it wasn't an akrapovic, but if it fits, the price was fair and suits your needs you're good to go. Plus that wideband bung could be needed in the future.
