I was just wondering what increase everyone had seen with different camshafts?? I'm sure this will cause a load of arguments about the whole inlet/exhaust change theory... I've just had my stock cams (both) re-ground by Kent (UK) and just by this i gained 12bhp. The tuner (and i) were very surprised! They are listed as a superstock' re-profile and i'll find out the stats on these cams asap. Also the camchain tensioner was seized solid so check yours!!!

Could you give a step by step? Or just let me know where to have this done here in the 'States. I am curious and want to try this.

Hi
I'm sure all the major performance parts suppliers must offer cam grinding over there. Kent is a old (50yrs+) tuning company from the UK, and may have an USA agent?? Some of the improvement would have come from getting ideal squish and cam timing. Since having this done i'm reaching 3,000 extra RPM (on the same gearing) along the Hanger straight at Silverstone....quite an improvement!!!
