Does anyone know how to adjust the ride height for the 10R?? All Specs say that ride height is adjustable. Can anyone guide me through this procedure? Thanks :dontknow:

The front is done by looseing the tripe tree clamps and letting the forks slide up thru the clamps.

The rear there are two ways, there is a bushing on the top of the shock you pull out to drop it 5mm or so if you want it lower, but the rear is usually already at its lowest setting, if you need it higher there is a threaded bolt on the top of the shock tower that will allow you to raise the ass end up if needed.

Make sure you do your drop the same on both ends or you could either slow the turn in down or make it alot faster and hurt high speed stability.

Rear ride height is adjustable with shims. The factory shim kit costs more than a hundred bucks. Loosen the top shock nut, unload rear suspension and insert shim. There is a washer there from the factory. The poorboy method is to add another washer (3 bucks) but it requires dropping the top of the shock bolt all the down to get it on.

To raise the height, use washers from the local hardware store. They are big washers so make sure you buy some that have a large enough hole ... You will have to pull the tank off, unload the suspension and loosen the large nut under the tank seat area and lift the bike off the shock. Place 2-3 washers on the top of the shock mount bolt and reinsert the shock into the frame. It's easy if you can sling your bike from a hoist or something...
