I hear a lot of people complain about the brakes. I just put money down on a ZX10R ABS. If a oerson would want to can you pull a fuse and turn the ABS off.

Give them a try first. May work well for you.
Yessir but they will still feel the same, just the abs won't kick on. The thing people don't like is the mushy feel from all the extra rubber line.
