Hi guys

Im looking to remove the ABS unit completely from the bike, ill be being a test subject, having looked at the wire harness diagrams for both ABS and Non ABS models the difference appears to be that the non abs has 2 x 220U resistors and wiring into the wheel speed sensors.

wondering if anyone can make 220U resistors for me or direct me on how to make them well with my basic soldiering skills, so I can be the test subject of ABS complete removal :).

Any input is greatly appreciated

Just an idea like that....

Why don't install a switch so that way you can put on or off the ABS, hooking to a resistor or not ?

Surely they're will an error indication on the Fi telling you a malfunction of the ABS.

Before do that just ask to electronic guru, if that disturb the CPU or not.

I think somebody on the forum just put out the resistor who is responsible of the abs and have a non-ABS irake system. I saw that on the forum but don't remember if it's work great or not ????

Did you do a search on the technical forum ?

I'm talking about removing the ABS pump and piping completely so the catch can and rectifier relocation bracket can be used. The thing you are talking about is the ABS fuse.
