Buddy went 9.80 at 148mph on his zx 10r this weekend. brand new nothing done to it at all except -1 tooth sprocket. he weighs 165 pounds and had a 1.71 60 foot time which isnt the greatest and still ran those times!!!! not bad!!! no exhaust or anything!!! HE also owns a busa and can only run 143 mph on that with full exhaust and pc. his 60 foot is 1.61 on the busa and it still loses out to his 10. found that pretty interesting!!! especially when he was doing back to back runs on each bike!!!!!

I guess i suck.. I could only manage a 6.80 best time @ 112....with a 1.86 60 ft

Deffinately the key is launching with high rpm with the stock gearing. My freind was turning 7.1 at 111mph.Launching around 5000 rpm. When he started launching in the 8000rpm range His times dropped dramatically He was turning 6.50's around 114.I left early so I don't know what he ended up with but he had just bought the bike so it was totally stock. So if anybody is not getting the times they wanted The key is getting the rpms up on the line.He was telling me just to ride the clutch and do not let the rpms drop coming out of the hole.Maybe this will help some people out.

He lost on mph because he was hooking up good.He was pulling low 1.50 60ft.He was thinking about going down 2 in the front and lowering it and trying it again. The bike should really respond well in the 1/8th 2 teeth down in the front.I went 1 down I cannot even imagine 2 down. That would be a beast. You should really be happy with that mph.I have not seen many 10's pull that mph.119 that is strong. There was a guy there stretched out on a 10 with nos running 5.80 at 123mph.So you are doing awesome running that mph stock.
